Shipping & Returns

How do you ship?

Shipping is based on your garment and shipping option. The USPS site states but does not guarantee 2-8 business days for domestic delivery. Tracking is sent along with every package. CheckmatexDelvonJae LLC is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages.

How long does it take to order?

Everything is made to order; within a 1-3week processing and shipping.
Personalized (custom) orders could exceed up to 4weeks
due to specifications.

Where in the world do you ship?

Working to become global, but within the US at the moment.

Where do you offer free shipping?

When a US shopper spends $45 and up your order ships free.

Can I return the product?

We want you to be happy with your Checkmate Anywear pieces. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please contact us ASAP so we can come to an understanding of the matter within a 14-business days if delivery.


The Wardrobe Edit

How do I know which session to book?

All services begin with a complimentary 30-minute consultation. During that time, we’ll assess your needs, space, and style goals—and recommend the best session or package for you.

What happens during the complimentary consultation?

The consultation is a casual, 30-minute video call where we explore your wardrobe goals, lifestyle needs, and aesthetic preferences. It’s also a chance for us to see if we’re a good fit for one another.

What’s the difference between virtual and in-person sessions?

Virtual sessions focus on visual wardrobe assessment, styling advice, and personalized recommendations. In-person sessions allow for hands-on editing, folding, organizing, and real-time styling—ideal for clients seeking a more immersive experience.

What’s included in my session?

Each session includes guided edits, personalized recommendations, and a digital recap with suggested next steps. Add-on services like capsule lookbooks, donation drop-offs, and follow-up visits are also available.

Do I need to clean or prepare my closet before the session?

Not at all. The goal is to meet your closet exactly as it is—lived in and real. We’ll work from there to create structure and clarity together.

What areas do you serve for in-person sessions?

Currently, in-person services are available in select parts of North Jersey and NYC. Travel is includes up to 15 miles. Distances beyond that may incur an additional fee.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel?

You may reschedule up to 24 hours in advance at no charge. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in a partial fee.

Is this service only for women?

Not at all. The Wardrobe Edit is open to all—regardless of gender identity or personal style. This service is about alignment, clarity, and confidence, not categories.

Do you offer wardrobe services for retail or commercial spaces?

Yes. In addition to personal closets, The Wardrobe Edit is available for boutique backrooms, showrooms, studio spaces, and retail merchandising needs. If the space supports style, we can curate it.
